EcoSync is proud to present the successful deployment of a 300kW off-grid solar energy system in a remote region of Algeria. This hybrid solar project provides a stable, sustainable power supply to an LPG plant base camp, replacing most of its diesel dependency with clean, solar energy.
🔍 Project Background
In many remote areas like this one, access to stable electricity is a major challenge. The camp, supporting LPG operations, was previously powered entirely by diesel generators. However, ongoing fuel deliveries posed serious logistical and security risks due to poor road conditions and remote access.
As energy demand grew, it became clear that a more sustainable, reliable, and cost-effective solution was needed — one that could reduce emissions and ensure uninterrupted power.
⚙️ Our Off-Grid Solar Solution
To meet these challenges, a hybrid power system was implemented at the base camp. The installation combines high-efficiency 585W bifacial TopCon solar panels with existing diesel generators.
Key highlights include:
- ✅ 67% of the camp’s energy is now supplied by solar power
- 🔋 Remaining 33% powered by diesel as backup
- 🔧 System designed and installed to endure harsh conditions
- 🚚 Fuel transportation drastically reduced, improving site safety
